A little more progress

Gary has recovered enough to be moved out of the ICU to a regular room. Even better, Pam is working to have him transferred to Huntington Hospital in Pasadena within the next day or two.

Everytime I felt a little upset about some things today I thought about Gary.I'm sure this will make all of us stop and realize just how fragile we really are. Prayer is powerful and God is in control. It will be a tough road but time goes fast. You will be yourself before you know it. Things can always be worse. Thank God your alive.

Good to hear. So does this mean because Gary is out of ICU he is moving on to becoming increasingly more P.I.T.A. Awesome! Very happy to know everyday is a step foreward.

I got a call around 2:30 this afternoon from Pam ....she seemed pretty sure that Gary was going to be transferred to Huntington today.....it seems imminent, even if it's not today.

Pam & I agreed to hold off visitors, even those who were on the schedule, until things settle down a bit. She said that both she & Gary were exhausted...no surprise...I think she & Garr need some quiet time before resuming visitation...Let's stay tuned.

Pam and Gary, I have been communicating with Theresa and I am so happy to know that Gary is making progress. We have been thinking of Gary everyday, and praying for his recovery. I look forward to visiting him. Called USC on Mon. and they said no visitors. Please let me know if I can help with taking care of your dog or home. You know I'm just a few blocks away. Much love, Veronica (626) 399-9077.

Gary - its Toby from San Diego. You are in my thoughts my friend. I'm so happy that you have been progressing and that your friends and family have included the community in the process. Ultra runners know how crucial progress is, as slow or steady as it comes. Our good vibes will be with you on your journey back to you.

Gary and Pam,

All of here in the Tetons are thinking about you and praying for you. Next week are the Teton races and many runner's will be doing a lap for you! (that is 25 miles)
Gary..you are such an inspiration to me and the rest of us. Your heart just glowed out on the Badwater course and it was such a joy to share a few miles with you.
I look forward to more miles in the future.
Heal my friend and know that we are all with you every step of the way.

Great news for both of them. Closer to home, less hectic environment, rest and hopefully healing.

One day at a time.
