A so-so day

Gary is still at County/USC awaiting transfer to Huntington Hospital. In the meantime he has developed some stomach problems and is having trouble with food, not eating it, just keeping it.
He's been scheduled for x-rays to look for problems. Because of this, Gary is very tired and Pam is asking once again that we not attempt to visit him; also all volunteers are on hold until Hal lets you know otherwise. Thanks everyone.

I am sure this is a temporary setback. Seeing this is an opportunity for doctor do all the tuning and catches all the bug. Gary will be just like brand new machine when he gets out the hospital.
Gary, get well soon.

Gary was transported late Fri. to USC hospital. Good news...he is aware, alert, and telling the nurses how to do their job! Pam was comfortable enough with the care he's getting now that she could go home for a quick shower and a little much needed sleep. Not so good news, Gary is still having his stomach drained and is not getting any real food, although it's not stopping him from demanding 7-Up, throat lozanges, and Gu.

We come here daily to check on Gary's progress.

Suzie plans to wear her Mt. Disappointment shirt at the Disney half on Labor Day to honor Gary.

My only ultra shirt is from Bishop, so I will wear that to honor Gary at Disney.
