More improvements

Gary's recovery continues on a good "pace." He's been take off all IVs and no longer requires constant oxygen, so he can now move around a lot better. He's able to take walks around the ward and his doctor has suggested he go outside and take in a little sunshine. The latest x-ray showed a fractured bone in his left hand, he now has a "soft cast" and elastic bandage around it. While he might be moved to another floor, he'll be kept at USC University Hospital for at least another week; this is to continue monitoring the condition or operation of his liver, spleen and kidney. Again, please feel free to go see him during visiting hours.

Gary -
Sounds like significant positive movement. Strength of mind, body and spirit will guide you through this. Hopefully, the support of your many friends will keep the smile on your face through the tough times that still lie ahead.
